A Manual Stacker, often called a manual pallet stacker, is a hand-powered hydraulic lifting device designed to not only move palletized loads horizontally (like a standard pallet jack) but also to lift them vertically to place loads onto stacking frames, low shelves, or onto trucks. The 1000kg capacity indicates it is a robust, industrial-grade model built for heavy-duty applications.
It is the perfect intermediary tool between a simple hand pallet truck and a full-sized forklift, offering vertical lifting without the cost, size, or power requirements of a forklift.
The 1000kg capacity makes it ideal for a wide range of medium-to-heavy stacking tasks:
Warehouse Stacking: Loading and unloading low to medium-height shelving (typically up to 2-3 meters), racking, and stacking frames.
Loading Docks: Lifting pallets to place them onto or remove them from trucks and trailers.
Production & Staging Areas: Moving and organizing heavy materials, machinery parts, or finished goods in a factory environment.
Retail Stockrooms: Efficiently utilizing vertical storage space in backrooms without needing a large aisle for a forklift.
Any application where a pallet jack isn't enough (because you need to lift) and a forklift is too much (due to cost or space constraints).
The operation combines the horizontal movement of a pallet jack with a hydraulic lifting mechanism for vertical travel.
Positioning & Insertion: Lower the forks by releasing the hydraulic valve. Maneuver the stacker so its forks slide completely into the pallet openings.
Lifting the Load:
Pump the Handle: Use the hydraulic pump handle (often a separate lever or integrated into the main handle) to raise the forks and the load off the ground. A 1000kg model will require more pumping effort than a lighter-capacity stacker.
Raise to Desired Height: Continue pumping until the load is lifted to the required height for stacking or moving.
Transporting: Once lifted, the operator can pull or push the stacker to move the load to its new location. The large steer wheel and robust chassis make moving heavy loads manageable.
Stacking/Lowering:
Position the load precisely over the stacking point (shelf, another pallet, etc.).
Slowly turn the hydraulic release valve to lower the forks gently and place the load down.
Withdrawal: Once the load is securely placed and the forks are lowered, the stacker can be withdrawn from the pallet.
